Kinder parents may continue to walk students in through Wednesday. After that all students should enter the building independently in the mornings. This is to promote independence and ensure the safety of all students and staff.

First we would like to wish Mrs. Tipton all the best as she begins her new role as Supervisor of Behavior and Intervention at Central Office!
Mrs. Amber Williams will take over as Principal of Walland Elementary this year. Mrs. Williams served as our Assistant Principal last year, and many families know her from her time as Principal at Heritage Middle School. We are thrilled to have her as the new chief this school year!
Mrs. Paula King has moved from her Instructional Coach position into a systemwide Assistant Principal role, and we are excited she will be back with us 2 days a week this year!
Mrs. Alicia Custer worked with one of our first grade classrooms last year, and now joins the front office team as our new bookkeeper.
Officer Jeremy Bennett takes over as our new SRO this year, having previously been at Eagleton Elementary.
Ms. Zoe Stiles is also returning to Walland, now as our permanent music teacher! We are so excited and know the kids will be excited too!
Make sure and welcome our new and returning staff members when you see them! This is going to be another AMAZING year for the Tribe!

We can't wait to meet our new Tribe members! All students begin on a staggered schedule-- kindergarten students have an extended staggered schedule to help transition to school. The final staggered day for kinder is August 5th, with ALL kinder students coming Friday, August 7th.
Please plan to attend the Kindergarten Back to School Night on August 5th, at 6pm. This is when students will find out who their homeroom teacher will be. This is also a great opportunity to drop off supplies, learn more about kindergarten procedures, and ask any questions you may have.
